About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Butcher (ANZSCO 351211) to join our team in Queensland. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, trimming, and cutting meat to the highest standards, maintaining food safety and hygiene compliance, and providing excellent service to our customers.

This role offers SC482 visa sponsorship for eligible candidates who have completed their skills assessment and achieved the required IELTS or PTE English test results.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Prepare and cut meat to customers and business specifications.

▪ Bone, trim, and sliced meat for sale or further processing.

▪ Mince, grind, and tenderize meat as required.

▪ Ensure correct weighing, packaging, and labelling of meat products.

▪ Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations.

▪ Monitor product quality, stock levels, and assist with inventory control.

▪ Work collaboratively with the team to meet production and service targets.

▪ Provide excellent customer service where applicable.

Skills s Experience Required

▪ Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher) or equivalent qualification.

▪ Proven experience as a qualified butcher in a retail or processing environment.

▪ Sound knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and food safety standards.

▪ Strong knife skills and attention to detail.

▪ Good communication and teamwork abilities.

▪ Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Mandatory Requirements

▪ Valid Skills Assessment for occupation ANZSCO 351211 (Butcher).

▪ Valid IELTS or PTE test results meeting Department of Home Affairs requirements for the SC482 visa.

▪ Eligibility for SC482 visa sponsorship.

▪ Physically fit to perform the duties of the role.
