Role Description

Tamworth's NSW Australia most established hospitality destinations, offering accommodation, restaurant dining, functions, conferences and events.

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to lead our team, drive service excellence and continue building strong relationships within the local community.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a hospitality professional who understands how to build great teams, deliver exceptional guest experiences and operate a commercially successful hospitality business.

While accommodation experience is desirable, our priority is finding an outstanding hospitality leader with a strong background in restaurant operations, functions, events and team development.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the owners and senior leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing front-of-house, restaurant, functions and accommodation teams

  • Driving a positive workplace culture and high-performance environment

  • Managing daily operations across the business

  • Overseeing functions, conferences and events

  • Maintaining exceptional guest service standards

  • Managing labour costs, productivity and operational performance

  • Recruiting, onboarding and training team members

  • Building strong relationships with local businesses, community groups and stakeholders

  • Assisting with motel operations, reservations and accommodation management

About You

To be considered, you must demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager, General Manager, Food & Beverage Manager or similar leadership role

  • Strong hospitality operations experience

  • Proven leadership and team development skills

  • Experience managing functions, events or conferencing operations

  • Strong financial and commercial understanding

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and people

Highly Regarded

  • Hotel, motel or accommodation experience

  • Regional hospitality experience

  • Experience leading multi-department operations
