Job Description:

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of the five Star Hotels in Sydney.

Well established hospitality group operating several restaurants and a growing catering business. Venues are built around strong teams, genuine hospitality and consistent food standards.

This role does not come up often. This business has an established kitchen, experienced support and clear systems in place. We are looking for the right chef to step in, lead the team and continue building on what is already a strong operation.

You will work closely with management team, who oversees the kitchens & different outlets across the Hotel.

The Role:

As Head Chef you will lead the kitchen team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during service and maintains consistent food standards. As well as menu development and daily budget management across labour and COG spend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring the kitchen team

• Running kitchen operations and service

• Maintaining consistency and food quality

• Managing food costs and kitchen labour targets

• Ordering, stock control and supplier relationships

• Working with the Executive Chef on menu development

• Training and developing junior chefs

What We Are Looking For?

• Previous experience as a Head Chef

• A chef who leads from the front and builds a positive kitchen culture

• Strong organisational and operational skills

• Passion for quality produce and Mediterranean flavours
