Job Description:

▪ Repairs damage to metal, fiber glass and plastic body work on vehicles and forms replacement vehicle pane ls.

▪ Removing damaged panels and parts and removing upholsteries and accessories to gain access.

▪ Removing dents by hammering pane ls

▪ Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment

▪ Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand pane ls

▪ Filling depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding and sanding repaired surfaces.

Requirements:

▪ Minimum 3 years’ experience as a panel beater

▪ Certificate in panel beating or similar

▪ Certificate IV or at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications list ed above. In some instances, relevant experience and/ or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Must be able to provide:

▪ a current CV with experience in the role you is applying for

▪ identification

▪ copy of trade certificate or qualifications

▪ copy of valid pay slips or bank account

▪ passport or birth certificate

▪ driver’s license

▪ Evidence of employment

▪ any awards or certificates issued
