About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef who has strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, with South Indian cuisine experience highly preferred. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, managing day to day operations, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.

• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.

• Work efficiently during busy service periods.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen.

• Strong experience in North Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine.

• Experience in South Indian cuisine (preferred).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
